As the flagship event of the WBG Youth Summit, the Pitch Competition highlights the power of youth-led solutions in shaping a sustainable and inclusive future. It offers young entrepreneurs, change-makers, and innovators a prestigious platform to address critical development challenges with their unique ideas.

Submissions from diverse backgrounds and focus areas are encouraged, with cross-thematic and scalable solutions particularly welcomed.
Benefits
Finalists will attend the World Bank Group Youth Summit at the World Bank Headquarters in Washington, D.C., with travel, lodging, and a nominal stipend covered for up to three nights for one representative per team. Participants must secure a valid U.S. visa. Additional team members can join virtually.
Eligibility
- Team members must be aged 18-35 by the application deadline.
- All members should belong to World Bank Group member countries.
- The solution must align with at least one thematic pillar, with cross-pillar solutions also eligible.
Application Process
Applications, including pitch decks, will be reviewed by an expert committee. Shortlisted individuals and teams will be announced by early April 2025. Submissions are accepted in Arabic, English, French, or Spanish, using the provided pitch deck template.
