Eligibility Criteria
The internship is open to:
- Current undergraduates, graduates, or doctoral students, or those who graduated within the past two years.
- Candidates who can commit to at least four working days per week for 3-6 months.
- Applicants passionate about UNICEF’s mission in areas such as child rights, protection, education, health, nutrition, water/sanitation, and gender equality.
- Fluent English and Japanese speakers (written and spoken).
- Individuals proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Intern Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the Public Partnership Specialist, interns will:
- Collect and organize information for key stakeholders and media.
- Update and enhance the Tokyo office’s website and social media platforms.
- Assist in translating UNICEF materials and messages.
- Support planning and execution of office events, consultations, and workshops.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
