About OSOPADEC:
Established in 2001 by the Ondo State House of Assembly, OSOPADEC is committed to the socio-economic development of oil-producing and impacted communities in Ondo State, including Ilaje and Ese-Odo Local Government Areas. The Commission focuses on Community Economic Development (CED) by facilitating and implementing various projects and programs aimed at improving the welfare of these communities.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the 2024 OSOPADEC Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Indigene Status: Must be from Ilaje or Ese-Odo Local Government Area.
- Student Status: Must be full-time students enrolled in recognized private or public tertiary institutions in Nigeria for the 2023/2024 academic session.
- Eligible Programs: Undergraduate, postgraduate, and Nigerian Law School students whose studentship is confirmed by their institutions are eligible.
- Ineligible Categories: Part-time, sandwich, pre-degree, NTI certificate/diploma students, and students from unaccredited institutions are not eligible.
Scholarship Rewards
Successful applicants will receive the following financial support:
- Undergraduates: ₦50,000
- Masters/Postgraduate Diploma Students: ₦100,000
- PhD Students: ₦150,000

Applicants must provide the following documents during registration:
- Recent passport photograph
- Evidence of Local Government Area of Origin
- JAMB admission letter
- School fees receipt for the 2022/2023 academic session
- Current and valid student ID card
How to Apply
Follow these steps to apply for the OSOPADEC Scholarship 2024:

- Complete the online application form.
- Print the registration slip.
- Have the slip signed and stamped by your Dean of Students Affairs or Head of Department (HOD).
- Upload the signed slip to complete your application.
