Job Description
The Marketing Executive will focus on driving customer acquisition, increasing sales, enhancing brand visibility, and minimizing churn through Know Your Customer (KYC) campaigns and other trade engagements. The role also involves developing local market brands and utilizing data analytics to inform field operations led by Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and Market Developers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Distribution and Management of KYC Terminals:
- Ensure proper distribution of KYC terminals in the zone while increasing active terminals and productivity.
- Monitor and improve the KYC process to reduce turnaround time for repairs.
- Collaborate with ASMs to maintain and optimize KYC kits, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Enhance performance indicators such as terminal productivity and compliance.
2. Implementation of Trade Marketing Strategies:
- Execute the trade marketing strategy by identifying and fulfilling merchandising needs in the region.
- Ensure availability of products and brand materials across all channels (trade shops, CPs, street vendors, etc.).
- Prepare monthly Zonal Trade Marketing Execution Reports to share insights and best practices.
3. Enhancing Brand Visibility:
- Measure and track trade visibility across the zone.
- Promote brand visibility during sponsorships, events, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with the Regional Marketing Manager to enhance visibility through activations in the zones.
4. Trade Activations and Compliance:
- Partner with the sales team to execute marketing and BTS site activations.
- Ensure showrooms adhere to shop guidelines.
5. Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate reports and analytics to guide business strategies.
- Transform raw data into actionable insights for business growth.
6. Project Management:
- Coordinate and manage zonal projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goals.
- Escalate deviations to the Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) or Zonal Business Manager (ZBM) for resolution.
7. Customer Management:
- Work with the product development team to create localized products and services.
- Focus on reducing customer churn within the assigned zone.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing activations and channel branding, preferably in an FMCG or agency environment.
- Proficiency in English with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Technical marketing skills and a proven ability to manage and execute trade strategies.
- Educational Background:
- First degree in Engineering, Social Sciences, or Pure Sciences.
- A second degree in Business Management or Marketing is advantageous.
