The KAUST Photonics Summer Camp (PSC) is a fully funded research internship designed for undergraduate and Master’s students worldwide. Running for 4 weeks to 4 months, the program provides hands-on experience in cutting-edge photonics research, complemented by technical training and workshops on state-of-the-art nanofabrication and imaging technologies.
Participants will engage in research projects in modern photonics fields, including semiconductor lasers, photonic integrated circuits, quantum technologies, optical communications, neuromorphic computing, and hyper-vision systems. The camp also offers knowledge certification on advanced nanofabrication tools, networking opportunities with students and entrepreneurs, and exciting field trips.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
• Open to students from all nationalities
• Recent graduates, senior undergraduates, or Master’s students in electrical and computer engineering, physics, or related disciplines
• Minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0
• Strong English language proficiency
• High motivation for research
• No recommendation letters required
