No agencies here, just a small group of dedicated locals making a real impact!
About the Role
This is your chance to support Liz, a lively and bubbly lady who loves looking her best and embracing every moment. Living with cerebral palsy, Liz uses a full-time electric wheelchair and has a speech impediment, but that doesn’t stop her from enjoying life with her daughter and their cat, Tiger. Her home is a warm, welcoming space filled with energy and positivity.
As part of this rewarding role, you’ll assist with personal care, hoisting, light housework, and accompany Liz on appointments, shopping trips, or simply spending quality time with her and her daughter. They share a close bond, and Liz values being there for those special moments – you’ll help make that happen.

Shift Patterns:

- 15:30 – 21:30
You’ll need flexibility to cover both shifts, with occasional 12-hour days for longer outings or appointments. The role spans Monday to Friday and weekends, with around 6-18 hours per week. Plus, you’ll step in to cover sickness and holidays when needed.

About You
We’re looking for someone local to Portsmouth with a genuine passion for person-centered care. Previous caregiving experience is a bonus, but not a must – what matters most is your kind nature and willingness to learn. Fluency in English is essential, and flexibility is key to fit around Liz’s needs.
