What You Will Do as a Home Care Worker
As a Home Care Worker at ICare Group, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to maintain their independence and wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing Personal Care – Assisting clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting while ensuring dignity and comfort.
- Supporting Daily Living – Helping with meal preparation, medication reminders, housekeeping, and shopping.
- Offering Companionship – Providing emotional support to prevent loneliness and social isolation.
- Conducting Wellbeing Checks – Ensuring clients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.
- Ensuring Compliance – Following company policies on health & safety and client privacy.
- Contributing to Continuous Improvement – Participating in team meetings and suggesting ideas to enhance care services.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking caring, reliable, and dedicated individuals who are passionate about helping others. The ideal candidate will have:
✔ Previous Experience in Care (preferred but not essential)
✔ A Positive Attitude & Compassionate Nature
✔ Strong Communication Skills – Ability to interact with clients and families effectively.
✔ Team Player Mindset – Willingness to support colleagues.
✔ Flexibility & Reliability – Ability to work different shifts, including weekends.
✔ Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Vehicle – Essential for travel between clients.
✔ Work-Related Car Insurance – Must have or be willing to obtain.
