Job Overview
The IT Support Officer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, routers, and internet services, helping users maximize their efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily IT support to staff.
- Set up computer LANs for new outlets while resolving IT-related issues.
- Ensure the proper functionality of hardware and software components.
- Perform regular network backups.
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Plan and execute scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
- Restrict access to unauthorized sites, downloads, and users.
- Set up staff accounts, provide login assistance, and troubleshoot access issues.
- Install and train end users on club lighting and control systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues both in-person and remotely.
- Investigate and repair computer software and hardware faults.
- Maintain records of software licenses and ensure IT equipment meets safety standards.
Requirements
- OND/Diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
- No prior experience required, but relevant experience is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively across all staff levels.
- Creative mindset, open to new ideas, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
- Must be residing in or willing to relocate to Ibadan.
